terms-of-service

01

Online Store Terms

The Terms of Service should explain that customers must use the Ride PAS website lawfully, provide accurate information and avoid interfering with the store or other users. The final terms should identify the legal business entity operating Ride PAS and the jurisdiction that applies to the agreement. Customers should also understand that submitting an order does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted until Ride PAS confirms it. Any age, account or eligibility requirements should be included only if they are part of the actual business rules.

02

Product Information

Ride PAS should make reasonable efforts to keep product descriptions, prices, specifications and images accurate, while acknowledging that manufacturer information can change. Colors, included accessories, firmware, range estimates and other characteristics may vary by model, production run, rider or conditions of use. The production catalog should be checked against approved manufacturer information before publication. If a material product detail changes after an order is placed, Ride PAS should have a clear process for informing the customer and explaining the available options.

03

Pricing & Orders

The terms should explain how displayed prices, taxes and order acceptance work and when payment is collected. Ride PAS should reserve the ability to correct obvious pricing or catalog errors and to cancel or limit an order where necessary, subject to applicable law. The page should also explain what happens if an item becomes unavailable after the customer has placed an order or if a payment cannot be completed. Final wording must match the Shopify configuration, tax settings, payment flow and the client's actual cancellation practices.

04

Availability

The Ride PAS availability system should be explained clearly so customers understand that purchase availability and test-ride availability are separate. A bike may be In Store or Available to Order while its test-ride status is different, and those statuses can change as inventory or demo-bike availability changes. Availability may also change between the time a customer views the website and the time the order is processed. Ride PAS should confirm important stock details when necessary rather than treating every online status as a guaranteed reservation.

05

Payments

The terms should state that payments are processed through the payment methods enabled on the Shopify store and that customers are responsible for providing accurate billing information. Only payment providers, financing partners or installment services that are actually active at launch should be listed. If an authorization fails, expires or requires additional verification, the order may not proceed until payment is completed successfully. Any financing rates, eligibility requirements or repayment terms should come directly from the applicable provider rather than being rewritten inaccurately on the Ride PAS site.

06

Pickup, Shipping & Returns

The Terms of Service should reference the separate Shipping Policy and Returns / Refund Policy instead of repeating every operational rule. Customers should understand that pickup, delivery, returns and warranty requests must follow the applicable process and any confirmed eligibility requirements. For local pickup, Ride PAS should make clear that the customer should wait for a ready-for-pickup confirmation before traveling to the showroom. The shipping, returns and terms pages should be reviewed together so customers do not encounter conflicting rules during the purchase journey.

07

Third-Party Services

The website may link to or rely on third-party platforms such as payment providers, maps, social networks, analytics tools, financing services or manufacturer websites. Those services may have their own terms, privacy policies and availability, and Ride PAS does not control every part of their independent operation. The final terms should explain this relationship without overstating Ride PAS's responsibility for services it does not operate. Any embedded or connected tools should be reviewed at launch so this section accurately reflects the live technology stack..

08

Limitation & Legal Terms

Liability limitations, disclaimers, indemnification, dispute resolution and governing-law language can have important legal consequences and should be drafted or reviewed for Ride PAS's actual jurisdiction. These clauses should not rely on copied generic boilerplate that may conflict with consumer-protection law or the real business model. The final wording should remain consistent with rights that cannot legally be waived and with any warranties that Ride PAS actually provides. A qualified legal review is appropriate before publishing this section.

08

Changes To These Terms

The terms should explain that Ride PAS may update the Terms of Service when the business, website, technology or legal requirements change. The current version should include an effective or last-updated date so customers can identify which terms apply. Significant changes should be communicated where legally required or where the update materially affects customer rights or obligations. Ride PAS may also want to keep previous versions internally so it has a record of the terms that applied to earlier transactions.
