Questions Before The Ride

GOOD QUESTIONS. CLEAR ANSWERS.

Everything you need to know before choosing the Juiced Scrambler FS through Ride PAS.

Has the weight of the Tempo changed compared to the T1 ST Plus?
The Tempo weighs 39 lbs, the same as the T1 ST Plus. However, it features a removable battery. Without the battery, the bike weighs just 34 lbs, making it easier to carry and transport.
The MS (Mid-Step) frame lowers the step-over height, making it easier to mount and dismount—ideal for a wider range of riders, including women and older users. The HS (High-Step) frame is designed for riders who prefer a more responsive and sporty riding experience.
Pulse Mode™ is designed to support active riding by adjusting pedal assist based on real-time heart rate, helping maintain a steady effort level.
How to connect:
Use the included heart rate armband to pair with the display
Or connect a compatible smartwatch*
* Supported devices include Garmin, Apple Watch, and other smartwatches with heart rate broadcasting.

The torque sensor provides smooth, responsive assistance that matches your pedaling effort, making it ideal for stop-and-go riding and varied terrain.
The cadence sensor offers a lighter, more consistent assist, better suited for longer, steady rides.
Riders can choose based on their riding style and environment.
No. Tempo does not support the Velotric Range Extender Battery, which is designed specifically for the T1 series.
For extended range, consider carrying a second battery for easy swapping.
Yes. The battery is rated IPX7 for water resistance and certified to UL 2271 standards.
It is also securely locked with a key to prevent movement or detachment during rides.
No. Tempo does not support Custom Mode or throttle unlock in Class 3.
It is designed to prioritize a natural, pedal-focused riding experience that feels closer to a traditional bike.
* Note: In other Velotric models, Custom Mode may allow throttle unlock in Class 3 (up to 28 mph), where permitted by local regulations. This feature is not available in California.
